The Professional MemberSHIP Program (PMP) provides professional development opportunities for those working in the disability employment sector.

It is designed to build skills, empower and connect professionals that are dedicated to best practice.

The program provides access to a curated collection of training and networking opportunities that have been reviewed for quality and relevance to your industry.

It provides formal recognition of professional development through CPD points, leading to professional member status and the use of the post-nominals, MDEA.

THE PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM IS FREE TO DEA MEMBERS

Membership will provide access to:

  • a curated collection of training opportunities and events that have been reviewed for quality and relevance to your industry,
  • a supportive community of disability employment professionals and respected partners through exclusive PMP networking events,
  • relevant and targeted communication of sector news, industry best practice and DEA updates, and
  • records of your professional development activities through the allocation of annual CPD points.

Members who accrue 100 points in a calendar year are deemed professional members and can use the post-nominals, MDEA.

 

PMP is an excellent opportunity to strengthen your workforce, improve service quality, and support better employment outcomes for people with disability.

To participate:

  • Complete DEA approved professional development.
  • Log in to the DEA Member Portal.
  • Log your CPD points.
