Discover how apprenticeships and traineeships are creating meaningful career opportunities for people with disability across a wide range of industries.

This session will introduce MEGT and the services they provide to support both employers and apprentices throughout their employment journey. We’ll explore the benefits of inclusive employment, the tailored supports available including Disability Australian Apprentice Wage Support (DAAWS), mentoring and workplace assistance, and the financial incentives available to eligible employers.

Through real success stories, you’ll see how apprenticeships and traineeships can empower individuals to build rewarding careers while helping employers develop diverse, skilled and inclusive workforces. Whether you’re supporting job seekers or working with employers, this session will provide practical insights into how apprenticeships can be a powerful pathway to employment.

Sessions are designed to provide evidence-based information and practical insights to support continuous improvement in practice and the quality of services for people with disability.

Madison Ray, Industry Partnerships Manager VIC/QLD, MEGT

Madison Ray is the Industry Partnerships Manager for Victoria and Queensland at MEGT, where she works with employers, government, industry associations and community organisations to grow apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities across Australia. Passionate about creating inclusive employment pathways, Madison partners with organisations to help people from all backgrounds access meaningful careers, including people with disability. She works closely with employers to navigate available funding, incentives and support services, ensuring apprentices and trainees receive the assistance they need to succeed. With extensive experience building strategic partnerships and promoting workforce development, Madison is committed to helping businesses build diverse, capable workforces while supporting individuals to achieve long-term career success.
