Interviewers should ask more questions about disability

Employers are often reluctant to ask how a job applicant with disability might perform a role, but they should be giving each one "a real opportunity to demonstrate capacity", according to federal Disability Discrimination Commissioner, Graeme Innes.

Lack of workplace support costing jobs: SANE Australia

A new study by SANE Australia finds that most Australians with a mental illness receive little support at work, and more than half those surveyed did not believe their manager had an understanding of mental illness and its impact in the workplace.
