The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to build a high calibre and life changing national Disability Employment Service (DES).
DES enables people with a disability, injury or health condition to receive assistance to prepare for, find and retain work. This can be achieved through two streams, Disability Management Services and Employment Support.
DES providers also assist employers to put in place practices that support the employee to be successful in the workplace.
The General Manager (GM) – DES will establish, lead and manage the DES business for PeoplePlus. The position is accountable for establishing the DES strategy and business plan to ensure services are commercially successful, high quality with a customer orientation, profitable and deliver on regulatory requirements. The GM-DES is responsible for the financial management of the DES 2018 grant agreement and PeoplePlus business as contracted through the Department of Social Services (DSS) ensuring that the company’s operational and financial objectives are achieved.
This is a greenfield position which will involve full ownership for the business design, establishment and growth. As the business grows you will be able to build your team and mould the service provision to be first class in the industry.
