DESCRIPTION:Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) is a lifelong neurodevelopmental disability that can significantly influence how a person learns\, communicates\, manages stress\, and adapts to workplace expectations. \nFor employment service providers\, understanding FASD is essential to delivering fair\, effective\, and strengths‑based support. \nThis free session explores the brain‑based challenges associated with FASD\, such as memory\, processing speed\, emotional regulation\, and executive functioning\, and how these can impact job readiness\, training\, and sustained employment. Participants will gain practical strategies for adapting assessments\, modifying workplace tasks\, and collaborating with employers to create supportive environments. Her work spans aged care programs\, parenting advice and support programs\, offender reintegration\, and transition strategies for school students and youth at risk. Robyn is dedicated to raising awareness and advocating for better support and outcomes for individuals and families impacted by FASD. Passionate about educating professionals and communities\, she works to create more inclusive and supportive environments that address the challenges of FASD\, reflecting her lifelong commitment to improving understanding and outcomes for those affected.
