Elaine will present the ‘Good Job’ Creation Matrix\, which has been developed based on Elaine’s PhD research findings. This matrix provides a practical framework to help employers reimagine\, redefine\, and redesign roles within their organisations to meet business objectives effectively\, while creating quality jobs for people with disabilities. \nWhen coupled with the six dimensions of job quality\, the matrix can help organisations: \n\nenhance organisational efficiency and positive workplace culture by improving workforce inclusion\, productivity\, and overall job quality\nposition themselves as employers of choice\nensures technicians and other essential roles can focus on their core responsibilities\n\nOverall\, the Good Job Creation Matrix offers a strategic approach to employment for people with disabilities that can benefit both employees and employers alike. \nDuration: 45 minutes \nFormat: Online via Zoom \nFee: Free \nAccess: Once you have registered\, the Zoom meeting link will be provided in your registration confirmation email. \nThis Lunch & Learn series is a collaboration between Disability Employment Australia (DEA) and the Centre for Inclusive Employment. Sessions are designed to provide evidence-based information and practical insights to support continuous improvement in practice and the quality of services for people with disability. \n  \nSPEAKER INFORMATION \nDr Elaine Nash\, Flinders University and Swinburne University \nElaine has a background in social work\, having graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of South Australia (UniSA) in 1991. With over 30 years of experience in human services\, she has spent more than 20 years in operational and strategic leadership and management roles\, primarily in the disability sector. Over the years\, Elaine’s interest has evolved toward exploring how innovative business models can address social issues. To pursue this interest\, she earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2016 and completed her PhD in 2025. Her PhD research focuses on helping organisations enhance employment opportunities and outcomes for people with disabilities\, while also realising significant benefits. She is currently working with Flinders University and Swinburne University.
