Michael Goldsworthy - Awarded June 2011

Michael Goldsworthy's innovative and evidence-based leadership has consistently guided disability employment not-for-profits through processes of change, enabling a more efficient and accountable sector.

Michael has worked with over 5,000 organisations throughout Australia to bring about positive outcomes for the disability sector, and community not-for-profits more broadly.

As Principal Consultant at Australian Strategic Services, he is well known for providing insightful direction at the top level in strategic planning, risk management, mergers and organisational development.

Michael began his career in the education sector, and made significant contributions to the disability and employment sector by founding youth work experience programs.

He also initiated the Ingleside Project in Tasmania, which focused on community inclusion to establish local businesses to employ people with disability in open employment.
